Danube Cycle Linz to Vienna self guided riding tour

Day 1: Linz
Check into your first hotel, and pick up all your tour documents at the hotel reception.
If you hired a bike, you’ll go and pick them up from our service center.

Day 2: Linz to Ardagger / Grein, ~60 km
Visit the beautiful city of Grein, the old Rococo theatre and the Greinburg castle and enjoy green meadows along your way.

Day 3: Ardagger / Grein to Wachau valley, ~70 km
Cycle along the world famous wine growing lands – Wachau valley and visit the Melk abbey.

Day 4: Wachau Valley to Traismauer, ~40 km
Keep enjoying the Wachau visit Valley, one of the most famous regions along the Danube, the Melk monastery and the vineyards.

Day 5:  Traismauer and surroundings to Vienna, ~65 km
Reach the Danube biggest metropoline – Vienna, Isn‘t it a great adventure to say ‘I‘ve done it‘?

Day 6: End of tour
After the night in Vienna, the tour ends.

Basic price for a person in a double room:

• At the end of the tour hired bikes can be left in your Vienna hotel

Single supplement: € 190 per person

Train to Linz: 

• If you intend to arrive via Vienna Int’l airport, you’ll need a train to Linz, cost € 32 per person
• If you intend to arrive from Vienna or leave a car at the beginning point (Linz), you’ll need a train from Vienna city, cost € 12 per person
• Otherwise you don’t need a train
