Itinerary

Day 1: Linz
Check into your first hotel, and pick up all your tour documents at the hotel reception.
If you hired a bike, you’ll go and pick them up from our service center.

Day 2: Linz to Wallsee & surrounding, ~ 40 kmAfter a rich breakfast you‘ll start your tour. Don‘t miss the Celtic village and it‘s house exhibition where you can see how people lived 2,700 years ago.
Your night will be at a lovely farmhouse.
Hotel example: Wallseerhof in Wallsee.

Day 3: Wallsee & surrounding to Marbach & surrounding, ~40 km
Cycle through the lovely town of Grein, visit “Ardagger” – the water sport paradise, and enjoy some great ice cream in Schorgi‘s ice-pralor.

Day 4: Marbach & surroundings to Wachau Valley, ~ 50 km
Enjoy Wachau Valley, one of the most famous regions along the Danube, the Melk monastery and the vineyards.
Hotel Example: Gasthof Zur Wachau

Day 5: Rest day in the Wachau valley
Enjoy the lovely hotel garden, let your kids rest in the swimming pool, and if you‘ve got with some spare energy for tours, visit one of the local wine cellars and their surroundings.

Day 6:  Wachau Valley to Stockerau, ~ 50 km by bike +  train ride
Cycle from Wachau along the Danube river with these beautiful views on each side till you reach the town of Krems, where you take the train to Stockerau.

Day 7:  Stockerau to Vienna – 25 kilometers
Reach the Danube biggest metropoline – Vienna, Isn‘t it a great adventure to say ‘I‘ve done it‘?

Day 8: End of tour
After the night in Vienna, the tour ends.
If you wish to have additional nights in Vienna, please let us know.

• 7 to 11 years old – 50%

Rates do not include tourism tax (approx. € 1,00 – 3,00 per person per night) to be paid on site

•  7 nights in 4 & 3 stars family friendly 3-star hotels, including the night before you start your cycling, and the night in Vienna after your last cycling day
• Daily rich breakfast buffet or extended breakfast
• Luggage transfer from hotel to hotel as far as Vienna (1 piece per person max. 23 kg.)
• Train ride Krems to Tulln including bike.
• Admission to the “Garten Tulln” adventure world with the adventure and nature playground
• Entrance fee for Giant Ferris Wheel in Vienna
• Detailed online & printed tour book including online navigation system

Train to Linz: 

• If you intend to arrive via Vienna Int’l airport, you’ll need a train to Linz, cost € 32 per person
• If you intend to arrive from Vienna or leave a car at the beginning point (Linz), you’ll need a train from Vienna city, cost € 22 per person
• Otherwise you don’t need a train
