Well being self guided cycling tour of Danube Cycle

Day 1: Passau
Check into your first hotel, and pick up all your tour documents at the hotel reception.
If you hired a bike, you’ll go and pick them up from our service center.

Day 2: Passau to Schlogener Schlinge  ~50 km
Get to know the Danube Cycle Path. Cycle through the idyllic Upper Danube Valley downstream past Engelhartszell to the well-known Schlögener Schlinge

Day 3: Schlögener Schlinge/surroundings to Linz   ~45 km
Head down Danube river cycling on your bikes from forest views towrds agricultural lands of Eferdinger,
ending your day in beautiful Linz, the capital of upper Austria.

Day 4: Linz–Grein/Bad Kreuzen   ~ 60 km
Start with a tour in Linz, then continue to Strudengau, and finally to beautiful Grein, crossing on your way many ancient villages.

Day 5:  Grein/Bad Kreuzen–Wachau Valley,  ~ 65 km, Boat trip from Melk to Spitz
Cycle your way through famous picturesque Wachau Valley, enjoy part of the valley by sailing from Melk to Spitz,
as well as famous vineyards & wineries spread along your way.

Day 6:  Wachau Valley to Vienna  ~45 km by bike & 35 km by Train
Leave Wachau Valley behind, cycle to Tulln and proceed by train reaching the Danube biggest metropoline – Vienna

Day 7: End of tour
After the night in Vienna, the tour ends.
If you wish to have additional nights in Vienna, please let us know.

Basic price for a person in a double room:

• At the end of the tour hired bikes can be left in your Vienna hotel

Half Board (=dinner): € 212 per person (5 nights only, in Vienna only breakfast)

Train to Passau: 

• If you intend to arrive via Vienna Int’l airport, you’ll need a train to Passau, cost € 51 per person
• If you intend to arrive from Vienna or leave a car at the beginning point (Passau), you’ll need a train from Vienna city, cost € 30 per person
• Otherwise you don’t need a train
