Danube Cycle Sporty self guided riding tour

Day 1: Passau
Check into your first hotel, and pick up all your tour documents at the hotel reception.
If you hired a bike, you’ll go and pick them up from our service center.

Day 2: Passau to Feldkirchen/Aschach  ~ 70 km
Starting from the upper Danube valley, crossing Schlogener Shclinge and beautiful Aschach, you‘ll enjoy this day a variety of sceneries.
Hotel example: Hotel Gasthof Sonne

Day 3: Feldkirchen/Aschach to Grein – 85 kilometers
Visit the modern city of Linz as well as Eferdinger Becken and the Baroque town of Grein.
Hotel example: Hotel-Gasthof zur Traube

Day 4: Grein to Krems –  85 km
Enjoy beautiful sceneries of the Strudengau & Nibelungengau, arriving the Wachau valley.

Day 5:  Krems to Vienna – 80 kilometers
Reach the Danube biggest metropoline – Vienna, Isn‘t it a great adventure to say ‘I‘ve done it‘?

Day 6: End of tour
After the night in Vienna, the tour ends.
If you wish to have additional nights in Vienna, please let us know.

Basic price for a person in a double room:

Price includes:

• 5 nights in 3 star hotel, including the night before you start your cycling, and the night in Vienna after your last cycling day
• Daily rich breakfast buffet

Rates do not include tourism tax (approx. € 1,00 – 3,00 per person per night) to be paid on site

Optional Supplements

Bike hire:

• 21 gear touring bike – € 115 per bike for the whole tour
• Bike Inurance (optional) – € 23 per bike
• Electric bike – € 239 per person
• Bike Inurance (optional) – € 52 per e-bike
• At the end of the tour hired bikes can be left at your Vienna hotel

Single supplement: € 290 per person.

Train to Passau: 

• If you intend to arrive via Vienna Int’l airport, you’ll need a train to Passau, cost € 69 per person
• If you intend to arrive from Vienna or leave a car at the beginning point (Passau), you’ll need a train from Vienna city, cost € 55 per person
• Otherwise you don’t need a train
